DEKOR™ FAQ 05

Another question is about our EZMAXC Transformer. Puts out eight amps. The question we get with this is we’ve got two output terminals coming out of the transformer. That allows you to supply voltage to two separate circuits, but regardless, you can’t exceed the amount of amperage coming out of the transformer.

In other words, if this has more lights, this one’s going to draw more amperage out of the transformer versus this one. But the two will never exceed the total amount rating on the transformer, which is 8.3 amps.

Contractors use this a lot as well. They cut off the plug end and direct wire it into a circuit. It can be a switched outlet or they’ll run it through conduit.
